Requests and event interest

We collect email, request type, city/ZIP, equipment and power needs, timing, event interest, and your message, plus submission time, identifiers, notice versions, and communication choices. These let us respond, plan spaces/events, and handle instructions. The forms are private and create no paid service or confirmed reservation.

Ordinary inquiry records remain while open for that purpose and are removed during manual maintenance after 12 months from resolution. We review open records for continuing need. You may request earlier deletion. Minimal privacy-request handling records have a separate 24-month period after resolution before cleanup, subject to a specific legal preservation need; minimum opt-out records remain to prevent unwanted contact.

Directory accounts and content

We collect name, email, password (stored as a hash), optional profile, settings, listings, approximate location, photos, saved spaces, reviews, reports, and inquiries to operate and secure the directory. Credentials are sensitive information used for access, not to infer characteristics.

Published listings, selected photos, areas, display names, and reviews are public. Account email is not public unless you put it in public content. When contacting a host, you choose the reply email shared with that host; earlier inquiries without a separately supplied reply email continue to show your current account email. Records generally remain while the account/content is in use. Pausing does not delete a listing. Deleting a listing removes related inquiries and reviews but detaches photos for separate cleanup; directory account deletion does not delete main-website inquiries. Unconfirmed accounts become eligible after 30 days without successful sign-in or account update, once remaining sessions and links expire. Unattached photos become eligible once they are more than 24 hours old from upload. Email delivery records follow their separate period in the Privacy Policy.

Contacting a host

Your selected host receives your current display name, the reply email you enter for that inquiry, equipment description, power estimate, timing, and message to answer your request. We save the reply email with the related account/listing; changing your account email does not change this saved address. Your current display name continues to appear in earlier inquiries. Earlier inquiries without a separately supplied reply email continue to show your current account email. Viewing or saving a listing does not send contact details. We cannot recall copies already received by a host. An inquiry does not confirm a booking.

Browser and provider information

Security cookies, sessions, browser information, connection logs, and keyed abuse identifiers support operation and security. Our websites have no advertising or analytics trackers. Map requests disclose connection information to MapTiler; city lookup sends search text through our server to MapTiler. Resend processes recipient/message data when email delivery is enabled.

Cloudflare Turnstile receives browser and connection security signals during protected submissions; we send its token for server-side validation. That request does not contain your form message or password. Cloudflare's privacy notices describe its security processing and use of signals to improve bot detection. Form-security cookies last up to 8 hours on the main website or 30 days in the directory. Login sessions last up to 12 hours, or 30 days if remembered. Browser retry identifiers expire after 24 hours. The Privacy Policy provides the remaining technical/delivery retention periods and operational criteria. Providers follow their own practices.

Details and choices

None of these categories is sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. The full policy explains recipients, retention, California rights where applicable, and requests. Marketing opt-in is not required to make an inquiry, create an account, or use the directory.
